about

"She can hear the storm. She's got her Night Moves on"
Double Vanity Night Moves is an optimistic retrowave dreampop shelter from 'the hum of the drones.' out through Psychic Hysteria now!

Night Moves video is directed, filmed and produced by Geoffrey O'Connor for release together with the single. The track is from Double Vanity's forthcoming concept album 'Love to Leave You', slated for release out through Psychic Hysteria in June 2022. Album Pre-sales available soon...

The single optimistically cuts through a Lynchian nuclear storm, a Vaseline lense quintessential story of a single 2060s thirty-something valium house bot protagonist who, with stockings torn, leaves the oven on to fulfill her Collywood dreams smoke-screen using only surrounding domestic devices. An apron clad, double platinum AI-bobbed-bot, centre stage, on an oven smoke filled linoleum chequered floor... She'll dance on all night, colliding between the glaze divide of the outside world, against the holding pattern her own internal simulation mode.

A dystopian dream within a dream into the virtual human centre toward a brave new world of ‘airportwave.’

Drama inducing synths, drippin' bass grooves and reverb soaked guitar. Out front, a delay drenched diva over the slow beating heart of the analogue drum machine.
